If a Tasker cancels a job after accepting it, a 18.15% cancellation fee applies. Additionally, cancellations negatively impact your Completion Rate, which determines your Stage.
We expect Taskers to manage their schedules carefully. Accepting a job is a commitment to the Poster. Cancellations cause inconvenience and erode trust in the community.
Just like Posters, Taskers are subject to a cancellation fee if they cancel an assigned job.
The Fee: You will be charged a 18.5% cancellation fee based on the total job amount.
Payment: This amount is applied as a DEBIT to your Taskbear wallet and will be automatically deducted from your future earnings.
Refund to Poster: The Poster receives a full refund (100%) of their payment, including the Connection Fee.
Beyond the fee, cancellations directly affect your reputation and visibility on the platform.
Completion Rate: Your completion rate is calculated based on the number of jobs you complete versus the number you accept. Every cancellation lowers this percentage.
Stage Status: Taskbear stage System (Stage 1, Stage 2 ... ) relies heavily on your Completion Rate.
Losing Stage: If your rate drops below a certain threshold (e.g., 85% or 90%), you may lose your stage.
Lower Visibility: Taskers with lower completion rates appear lower in search results, leading to fewer job offers.
Reliability Score: Consistent cancellations indicate unreliability.
Suspension: Repeatedly cancelling jobs may trigger a manual review of your account, which could lead to temporary suspension or permanent deactivation.
In rare cases, if a cancellation is due to the Poster's actions (e.g., Poster is unresponsive or unsafe), it may not count against your metrics.
Dispute Process: You must provide evidence (chat logs, photos) to our Dispute Resolution team via a Job Cancellation Appeal.
Admin Decision: If the Admin rules in your favour, the cancellation fee may be waived, and your metrics restored.
