If you cancel a job after a Tasker has been assigned, a 18.15% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. The remaining balance will be returned to you.
We understand that plans change. However, once a job is agreed upon, our system holds funds and notifies Taskers to secure your slot. Our cancellation fee helps cover these administrative and processing costs.
If you decide to cancel a job that has already been accepted by a Tasker:
The Fee: You will be charged a 18.15% cancellation fee.
The Calculation: This fee is calculated as 18.15% of the total amount paid for the job.
The Refund: The remaining 81.85% of your funds will be refunded to your original payment method or credited to your Taskbear wallet.
When you request a cancellation through the platform:
Request Submitted: You initiate the cancellation from the Job Details page.
Fee Deduction: The 18.15% fee is automatically deducted from the funds held in Taskbear platform.
Refund Processed: The remaining balance is processed back to you.
Tasker Notified: The assigned Tasker is immediately notified that the job has been cancelled.
If the Tasker is the one who cancels the job:
You are not charged any fees.
You will receive a full refund (100%) of the total amount paid.
