Welcome to Taskbear! Our platform is designed to handle everything from simple errands to complex projects. To ensure smooth payments and clear communication, it is essential to understand the three main roles in our ecosystem and how they interact.
Taskbear connects three specific roles. Posters are customers who need work done. Taskers are skilled professionals who manage and complete the job. Helpers are hourly assistants hired by the Tasker (not the Poster) when extra hands are needed.
The Poster is the person or business who needs a task completed.
Role: You post the job, set the budget, and define the timeline.
Responsibility: You review quotes, assign the task to a Tasker, and release payment once the job is done.
Payment: You pay the Tasker. Your funds are held securely in Taskbear until the job is marked complete.
The Tasker is the skilled professional who quotes on jobs and runs the project.
Role: You offer services, provide quotes, and are liable for completing the task as agreed.
Responsibility: You manage the work. If the job requires more than one person (e.g., moving a piano or a large renovation), you are responsible for securing the extra labor (Helper).
Hiring Help: Taskers can use the Helping Hands in the app to find verified assistance.
The Helper is a worker hired specifically to assist a Tasker.
Role: You provide labor and support to the Tasker for a specific job.
Hiring: You are hired by the Tasker, not the Poster.
Payment: You are paid hourly. You can set your hourly rates according to separate services you offer, and Taskers hire you according to the service and the payments calculated for the hours you hire.
Here is how a typical multi-person job flows on Taskbear:
The Post: A Poster lists a job (e.g., "Move a 3-bedroom house").
The Quote: A Tasker reviews the job and quotes the Poster a total price that covers the cost.
The Assignment: The Poster accepts the Tasker's quote. The total funds are held in Taskbear until the Tasker completes the job.
The Helper: The Tasker uses the "Helping Hands" to hire a Helper if any help is needed.
The Work: Both the Tasker and Helper arrive to do the work. The Tasker manages the Helper.
The Completion:
The Tasker marks the job complete.
The Poster releases the funds.
Taskbear processes the payments: The Service Fee is deducted, and the Tasker receives the amount.
If Tasker hired a helper, Tasker can pay separately ( hold payment to the helper by the Tasker side when hiring the helper ) after the job is completed.
Regardless of the role, safety is our top priority.
ID Checks: All Taskers and Helpers must undergo identity verification.
Badges: Taskers can earn badges according to the verifiections he done. ( ID Badge, Police Check verification badge, etc.).
No Cash: To ensure everyone is protected, all payments must go through the Taskbear platform.
