Understanding the Taskbear Ecosystem: Posters, Taskers, and Helpers

Welcome to Taskbear! Our platform is designed to handle everything from simple errands to complex projects. To ensure smooth payments and clear communication, it is essential to understand the three main roles in our ecosystem and how they interact.

Taskbear connects three specific roles. Posters are customers who need work done. Taskers are skilled professionals who manage and complete the job. Helpers are hourly assistants hired by the Tasker (not the Poster) when extra hands are needed.

1. The Poster (Client)

The Poster is the person or business who needs a task completed.

2. The Tasker

The Tasker is the skilled professional who quotes on jobs and runs the project.

3. The Helper (Support/Hourly)

The Helper is a worker hired specifically to assist a Tasker.

How the Ecosystem Works Together

Here is how a typical multi-person job flows on Taskbear:

  1. The Post: A Poster lists a job (e.g., "Move a 3-bedroom house").

  2. The Quote: A Tasker reviews the job and quotes the Poster a total price that covers the cost.

  3. The Assignment: The Poster accepts the Tasker's quote. The total funds are held in Taskbear until the Tasker completes the job.

  4. The Helper: The Tasker uses the "Helping Hands" to hire a Helper if any help is needed.

  5. The Work: Both the Tasker and Helper arrive to do the work. The Tasker manages the Helper.

  6. The Completion:
