Your profile picture must be your real face. To build trust and ensure safety, we do not allow logos, landscapes, animals, or blurry images as your main profile photo.
At Taskbear, trust is everything. When you hire someone or accept a job, you want to know you are dealing with a real person. That is why we have strict guidelines for profile photos.
Your profile photo is your first introduction to the community.
Mandatory: Your profile photo must contain a clearly visible, real face.
Verification: We utilize both technology and manual checks to ensure that every profile photo contains a face. If your photo does not show a face, it may be rejected or removed.
To ensure your photo is approved and helps you succeed on the platform:
Show Your Face: Ensure your face is centered and clearly visible.
Good Lighting: Use a well-lit photo so your features are clear.
Solo Shot: You should be the only person in the photo. Group shots make it hard to identify which person is you.
Be Professional: A friendly, professional appearance encourages Posters to hire you.
We will reject photos that do not meet our standards, including:
Non-Human Images: No pets, animals, landscapes, or objects.
Logos & Text: Even if you are a business, your profile photo must be a person.
Obstructed Views: Avoid heavy sunglasses, masks (unless for health/safety in a work context), or extreme angles that hide your face.
Offensive Content: Images that are offensive, explicit, or discriminatory are strictly prohibited.
Impersonation: You must not use a photo of someone else.
Go to your Profile or Edit Profile ( Icon or text ).
